What defines beautiful lips?

Many people have their own ideas as to what characterises beautiful lips. Angelina Jolie, Cheryl Cole, Halle Berry and many others are often viewed as having beautiful lips. This is not to say we all should have lips like Angelina Jolie. Lip enhancement should pay close attention to our existing facial features creating a soft, balanced sensuous pout (not a ‘trout pout’ or ‘duck lip’).

An aesthetically pleasing and youthful lip is typically defined as one where;
 the bottom lip height is greater than that of the top lip
 the cupids bow is sharp and well defined
 the philtral columns are prominent and full
 the upper lip is full centrally
 the upper lip sits 1-2mm in front of the lower lip
 the mouth corners are slightly upturned

Are the results of treatment instant?

Yes, the results of dermal filler treatment are instant, however there is usually some mild swelling which resolves in a couple of days
