Sculptra

Sculptra is often referred to as a liquid face lift. It gradually softens the signs of facial ageing, restores lost collagen providing results that last up to 2 years

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra’s main ingredient is Poly-L-Lactic Acid. It works differently from traditional dermal fillers. A formal Sculptra treatment typically involves 3 separate treatments.

How does Sculptra work?

Immediately after treatment you will notice a volumising effect. This however is transient and is due to the ‘water for injection’ and ‘local anesthetic’ mixed with the Sculptra in advance of injection. During the course of the first week after treatment this ‘water’ and ‘local anesthetic’ is absorbed. Daily facial massage is required and over the coming weeks and months the Poly-L-Lactic-Acid stimulates the production of new collagen. This production of new collagen is occurs slowly and it is not uncommon for clients to contact us many months later delighted with the results of treatment.

Is Sculptra Safe?

Yes, in the correct hands Sculptra is a safe treatment. Dr Kent has undergone significant training a in Sculptra by no less than 3 separate UK doctors and in 2011 was described by a leading UK Sculptra doctor as ‘a most natural injector’. Dr Kent’s experience and knowledge gained from multiple trainers has allowed him to refine his own Sculptra injection technique.
